The Planning, Competitive Analysis & Insights (PCA&I) team is tasked with delivering data-driven insights to inform and influence the business decisions of Coca-Cola Latin America in order that we best serve our consumers.
This role is responsible for providing guidance and insights in the area of Strategic Planning for LATAM region – which includes framing the messaging to our various stakeholders regarding our priorities and strategic plans as well as business performance against those plans.
Our stakeholders include cross-functional leaders across Latin America and at Corporate as well as our largest bottling partners. The successful candidate will work with empowerment on a fast-paced team, operate with strong attention to detail and desire to learn, and continuously evolve and improve work through analysis, collaboration, and iteration.
What You’ll Do For Us
Working closely with the rest of PCA&I team, this role will:
- Provide holistic understanding of business performance inside the OU, including defining OU volume budget targets, operational metrics, and requirements by state/brand/channel, etc.
- Analyze local macro-economic trends & market analysis
- Support end-to-end volume planning and forecasting process for OU.
- Supports broader Finance organization in reporting, ad-hoc studies and insights generation.
- Coordinate development of Business Performance dashboards, KPIs, and data definitions
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience; Master’s Degree or related a plus
Related Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience finance and/or strategy preferred
- Ability to work in a diverse cultural environment as a highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levels
- Experience with data management and strategy is required.
- Beverages Industry / FMCG knowledge is not mandatory, but a great differential.
- Having modeling and programming skills is a plus (R, Python, SQL)
Functional Skills
- Descriptive & Predictive Analytics – Utilize data science tools and infrastructure to derive meaningful, actionable insights that inform decision-making processes. Master Excel is essential, knowing PBI is desirable but not required.
- Data-Driven Storytelling – A creative way of consolidating data, analyzing for insight, and translating into a clear and compelling story.
- Financial & Business Acumen – Understand core business and financial concepts and the connectivity of each to business strategy and competitive landscape.
