Mobile Networks
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
The team you’ll be part of
Is very involved with the cellular networks of Brazil and the world. The team works with all cellular technologies and mainly with 5G, the latest technology. The tam is responsible for planning and optimizing cellular networks so that everyone can have access to the internet no matter where they are. The main mission is to maintain the quality of current and new cellular networks, to provide excellent coverage levels and high throughput rates
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
What you’ll be doing:
- Monitor parameter consistency, check rules to maintain RAN parameter database consistency internally and implemented according to the default parameters and RAN planned specific parameters.
- Monitor KPIs reports on network, area and cluster level.
- Monitor “worst objects” reports at Node-B.
- Analyze and troubleshoot “worst objects” reports by recommending software changes, hardware changes or alerting O&M in case of hardware problem.
- Analyze drive test measurements to detect eventual problems and recommend changes to fix those problems.
- Give input to RF planning department in terms of capacity, quality and coverage for expansion phases.
Key Skills And Experience
Education Recommendations:
- Currently in the penultimate year of the undergraduate course engineering (Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science)
