About The Role

Our Noble Denton marine services have been active in the marine warranty market for more than half a century. We technically audit the readiness of marine operations, and provide independent and impartial advice for vessel owners, operators and underwriters.
Energy Systems Business Area Is Searching For a Senior Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) Engineer Focused On Upstream Market, To Perform The Main Tasks As Specified Below
- Desktop and field (onshore and offshore) activities.
- Provide technical input to concurrent projects.
- Writing and support delivering technical reports.
- Customer interface and associated sales skills by effectively communicating projects’ progress and identify new opportunities.
- Interact with other team members and clients in a manner that is professional and promotes collaboration.
- Manage and execute projects related to the subjects mentioned above.

About You
Position Qualifications:
- Naval Architect, Mechanical Engineer, Subsea Engineer or equivalent qualification with significant offshore-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Marine Warranty Survey, Marine Technical Services and Marine Surveys.
- Experience with MWS requirements in international codes/standards within the O&G industry, including DNV, ISO, etc.
- Familiarity with the certification process of assets and equipment within the O&G industry.
- Digital Mindset.
- Office Package.
- Fluent in English.
- Native in Portuguese.
The Successful Candidate Shall Present
- Excellent communication skills-including the ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Experience in marine consultancy including warranty, vessel and asset inspections, audits, surveys, damage surveys and project management is a significant advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience within the Marine or Offshore Industry.
- Problem solving capacity.
- Critical thinking.
- Ability to pick up technical concepts quickly.
- Ability to completely undertake technical activities with limited supervision.
- Ability to speak with a wide variety of clients for the purpose of communicating DNV services and capabilities.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-motivated.
- Initiative independent of direct instruction.
- Ability to work on a team effectively and efficiently, but also be able to show effectiveness when working individually.
- Ability to handle fast pace, high demand environments with stress management skills.
- Actively seeks opportunities to help team members with demanding project schedules and expectations.
- It is required ability to work within tight deadlines.
This employee will be based in our Rio de Janeiro office and is expected to work at least 3 days in the office and 2 days in remote work (hybrid regime).
