What you will do

• Be hands-on in architecting and implementing frontend solutions from a given set of requirements either as an individual contributor or as a technical lead;
• Create technical work plans and execute on those plans to accomplish frontend objectives;
• Assist in maintaining existing frontend applications;
• Mentor and guide other frontend engineers;
• Contribute to Wordly’s engineering processes and culture to maintain a cooperative and supportive environment for all.

Must haves

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in architecting, implementing, and delivering frontend solutions from a set of product requirements;
• 2+ years of experience in leading software development work in some capacity;
• A deep understanding of the Angular framework;
• A deep understanding of the React library and common React development patterns;
• Experience working with React-based frameworks such as Next.js, Vue, etc;
• Expert knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript;
• Experience using the Git version control system;
• Able and willing to mentor other frontend engineers;
• Comfortable working with a fully remote team;
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with microservice architectures;
• Experience in designing APIs;
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, GitLab, TravisCI, etc;
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited institution.
