About The Role
We’re looking for a data-driven, hands-on SEO expert who thrives in a startup environment. You will be responsible for increasing organic traffic, optimizing web content, and ensuring the company ranks for high-intent keywords. You’ll work closely with our content, growth, and product teams to integrate SEO into all aspects of our marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
SEO strategy and execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to drive organic traffic and conversions
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-intent search terms that align with the audience
- Optimize on-page SEO, including metadata, internal linking, headings, and schema markup
Technical SEO and website optimization
- Perform SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve technical SEO issues
- Ensure site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability are optimized for search engines
- Implement structured data and other best practices for enhanced search visibility
Content and link-building strategy
- Partner with the content team to create SEO-optimized blog posts, landing pages, and resources
- Develop a backlink acquisition strategy, building relationships for guest posts and partnerships
- Track and analyze content performance to refine and improve SEO tactics
Analytics and reporting
- Monitor and report on SEO performance, including rankings, traffic, and conversion impact
- Leverage tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, HubSpot, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and others
- Run A/B tests and experiments to optimize click-through rates and engagement
Collaboration and growth alignment
- Work with growth and product teams to ensure SEO insights inform broader marketing efforts
- Stay ahead of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging opportunities
- Experiment with content formats, search features, and SERP optimizations
Qualifications
- Three or more years of SEO experience in a B2B SaaS or legal tech startup
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
- Experience conducting keyword research, content optimization, and link-building
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools
- Familiarity with HubSpot (proficiency preferred) for content management and SEO tracking
- Ability to analyze data, extract insights, and refine strategies accordingly
- A test-and-learn mindset—comfortable running experiments and iterating based on results
- Excellent communication skills—able to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders
