What does the job involve?
Responsible for operations, maintenance and engineering work related to the planning, design, installation, and structural reliability of mechanical systems used subsea, such as subsea pipelines, pumps, transportation equipment etc.
You are utilizing your knowledge independently to solve highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term tactical impact/risk. You address key business challenges that align with Equinor’s short and long-term strategy via providing specialist support to your team and others. You independently communicate within the immediate team, across other areas, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties. You regularly navigate conflicting agendas and may lead negotiations with senior stakeholders. You resolve challenges, deliver improvements and contribute to shaping best practices. You promote change initiatives, demonstrate flexibility to adopt new highly complex activities/ways of working and advice others. What will my tasks be?
Within This Position, Your Key Tasks Will Be To
- Deliver Subsea Operational Services such as Project Leader to manage project portfolio`s within subsea offshore operations, maintenance, and Add-on projects.
- Contribute to strengthen supplier management and develop our subsea aftermarket services.
- Cooperation with material management in Subsea Operational Services team to ensure optimal logistics in mobilization of Subsea material to rig- and vessel operation.
- Contribute to continuous improvements.

- Bachelor’s in Engineering degree with an active CREA.
- Project leader /logistics and/or engineer experience.
- 7 to 10 years of experienced divided in between subsea engineer experience and project coordinator/planning.
- Good SAP skills.
- Broad experience with subsea facilities in project phase or operation phase.
- Advanced English and Portuguese (good written and oral communication skills).
- Be able to communicate requirements and show direction towards internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize correctly during periods of high workload.
